Every dog is unique, and so is our pricing. We believe in fair, personalised rates that reflect your dog's individual needs.
We don't believe in one-size-fits-all pricing.
Instead, Penny's Pooches recognises that every dog is an individual with individual needs.
Catering for the needs of each dog will be different, driven by factors such as familiarity, length of stay, breed, age, temperament, behaviour, tolerance of other dogs, number of dogs from same household, sleeping arrangements and dietary needs.
Understanding the needs of any particular dog takes time and are only truly realised with exposure. Consequently, it is entirely possible that the fee for boarding a particular dog may increase or decrease for subsequent boards, even for boards of the same length of time.
Penny's Pooches sets a maximum rate of £50 per dog per day for Full Board with significant reductions applied wherever possible. The unique Full Board rate agreed for each Board will be applied to each new 24hr period or part thereof.
A nominal Day care rate of £4 per hour exists but a minimum fee for any Day Board of £16 will be applied, irrespective of Board length.
What Influences Your Quote?
Your Dog's Needs
Size, age, energy level, special requirements, and behavioral considerations all play a role in determining the level of care needed.
Availability & Timing
Remaining availability, holiday periods, last-minute bookings and duration of stay can all affect pricing to ensure quality care for all our guests.
Service Level
Additional services like medication administration, extra walks, grooming, or special dietary requirements may influence pricing.
Pricing Examples
Example 1
A 6 year old Pomeranian who has stayed with us more than 10 times before; has no special dietary or medical requirements; walks and plays well with other dogs; boarding for 10 days full board outside periods of high demand, could expect a daily rate of about £30.
Example 2
An 18 month old unneutered male Dachshund with no previous boarding experience with Penny's Pooches; not house trained; requires individually prepared meals and daily administration of tableted medication; aggressive towards other dogs and needs to be walked separately; for 5 days full board during peak holiday season, could expect a daily rate close to our maximum rate of £50.
